The Nine Hells, also known as the Infernal plane or Invernus, is home to [[Asmodeus]] and his legions of devils. The Hells task themselves with keeping the demons of the rift at bay. The Nine Hells, as their name suggests, consists of nine different layers, each having their own task in collecting souls, fuelling the forges, and working the eternal war machines of [[Asmodeus]]. ### [[Abeyal|🚪 Abeyal]] The first level of the Nine Hells and the entrance to the domain of [[Asmodeus]]. Abeyal is ruled by the duke [[Oromon]], the Gatekeeper ### [[Passar|🫦 Passar]] The second level of the Nine Hells and the forge of Lust. Passar rules of the souls fallen to the desires of the flesh and is ruled by duke [[Naamah]]. ### [[Mange|🍖 Mange]] The third level of the Nine Hells and the forges of Gluttony. Mange keeps the sinners who were taken by the drive to feast and is ruled by duchess [[Dothra]]. ### [[Phryga|🪙 Phryga]] The fourth level of the Nine Hells and the forges of Greed. Phryga contains the souls of the most greed stricken mortals that ever were and is ruled by duke [[Mammon]]. ### [[Phlemoth|🐌 Phlemoth]] The fifth level of the Nine Hells and the forges of Sloth. Phlemoth collects the wasteful and lazy mortals that through their inaction have caused great harm. Plemoth is ruled by duchess [[Sygga]]. ### [[Ichor|🩸 Ichor]] The sixth level of the Nine Hells and the forges of Envy. Ichor has its plains filled with the souls of the envious and is ruled over by duke [[Sangius]]. ### [[Brathos|💢 Brathos]] The seventh level of the Nine Hells and the forges of Wrath. Brathos keeps the wrathful and raging souls of the damned that fell to the folly of violence and is ruled by duchess [[Dagon]]. ### [[Noxia|🪞 Noxia]] The eighth level of the Nine Hells and the forges of Pride. Noxia tortures the souls of haught and prideful mortals and is ruled by duke [[Xerxes]]. ### [[Surthar|🐦‍🔥 Surthar]] The ninth and final level of the Nine Hells and the palace of [[Asmodeus]], the horned king. It contains the monolithic [[Soul Sentries]], which barrage the rift with constant hellfire.
