The ruling structure of the elemental planes is based mainly on the position of a plane in relation to the primal planes. The primal planes are earth, fire, air, water, negative, and positive. The four primal elemental planes are each represented by their on Primordial, while the two primal energetic planes are mainly uninhabited outside of a few stray hermits. ##### Elemental Lords The elemental lords are the rulers of the four primal elemental planes; earth, fire, air, and water. They are the physical embodiment of their respective element. The plane itself is a representation of the primordial and vice versa. They are the ruling regents over their planes and demi-planes. The two energetic planes, negative and positive, are seen as neutral grounds and do not contain rule of a primordial. The elemental lords are: * Torkun, the Earthroot * Infernan, the Firestorm * Vespen, the Windsong * Aquill, the Maelstrom ##### Elemental Demi-Lords Each of the four demi-planes also have a primordial. Though subservient to their lieges in the primal elemental planes, they have their own sway and can decided which of their two connected lords to follow in a dispute. Akin to the lords, the demi-lords represent a full embodiment of their element. The elemental demi-lords are: * Caelis, the One-Eyed and Lord of Ice * Varnok, the Smith and Lord of Magma * Xoloc, the Deciever and Lord of Ooze * Sillas, the Forgetful and Lord of Smoke ##### Commanders Under each elemental lord there resides two commanders, which embody both quasi-planes of their primal plane. These are the planes that connect the primal elemental planes to the primal energetic planes. The commanders work as regents for their quasi-planes as well as advisors for their elemental lord. The commanders are: * Gork & Mork of the Crystal Dunes * Starfire of the Radiant Sea * Lighthammer of the Thunder Dome * Swiftflute of the Myst Wode * Fadesong of the Dust Storm * Sootblade of the Ashen Plains * Null of the Void Space * Drypull of the Flake Wastes ##### Ambassadors Distinct from the commanders are the ambassadors. Unlike the commanders, the ambassadors are not under the command of a single elemental lord. They represent the demi-planes that bridge in between the primal elemental planes and work as liaisons between two elemental lords. The ambassadors are: * Frostpike of the Ice Peaks * Heatcore of the Lava Lakes * Cesstree of the Silt Moor * Wispore of the Smog Fields
