Though the unbridled chaos is ever shifting, its randomness has a tendency to four attractor points. These four points are known as the cardinal forces of chaos, as they are diametrically opposed to one another. Most scholars equate the relation between the cardinal chaos to the points of a compass.
###### Un
The force of complete and utter destruction. It is a force that lives only to break down what already exists, until the last concept in existence disappears. Opposed by the force of Kzar, Un is in constant battle to corrupt and destroy what its counterpart creates. Un is embodied in the [[Koth|Chaos Lord Koth]].
###### Feth
The force of flux and impulse, Feth concerns itself not with cause and effect. Instead it outs itself as pure random expression. Opposed by the force of Loth, Feth tries to make the logical illogical whatever it takes, pulling all thought towards instinct and gut-reaction. Feth is embodied in the [[Emphoth|Chaos Lord Emphoth]].
###### Kzar
The force of constant creation and re-creation. Never satisfied with the status quo, Kzar drives a constant amalgamation of components to be generated. Opposed by the force of Un, Kzar is always driving to produce more and more of its ilk, never stopping to think the implications. Kzar is embodied in the [[Belgor|Chaos Lord Belgor]].
###### Loth
The force of connections and conclusions. Loth pushes hollisticality to its ultimate endpoint, creating complex webs of cause and effect for even the most disparate events. Opposed by the force of Feth, Loth ever on corrupts knowledge and facts to fit into the final equation of all. Loth is embodied in the [[Thoz|Chaos Lord Thoz]].
