**Hypnotic Gaze.** When a creature starts their turn within 30 ft. of the Peeper and is able to see the Peeper's eyes, the Peeper can magically force it to make a DC 13 Charisma saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is <abbr title="A paralyzed creature is incapacitated (see the condition) and can’t move or speak. The creature automatically fails Strength and Dexterity saving throws. Attack rolls against the creature have advantage. Any attack that hits the creature is a critical hit if the attacker is within 5 feet of the creature.">paralyzed</abbr> until the start of their next turn. Unless the creature is surprised, a creature can avert its eyes to avoid the saving throw. If so, it cannot see the Peeper during its turn.

**Claw.** *Melee Weapon Attack.* +4 to hit, reach 30 ft., one target. *Hit:* 5 (1d6 + 2) slashing damage and the target is <abbr title="A grappled creature’s speed becomes 0, and it can’t benefit from any bonus to its speed.
