Herbalism is the art of turning different natural ingredients into medicinal, beneficial, or malevolent concoctions. These concoctions can be split up into three categories: alms, acids, and poisons. To craft concoctions with herbalism, you need to have a *herbalism kit* (or a *poisoner's kit* in the case of poisons). Crafting herbal concoctions can be done during a long rest. When crafting a concoction, you first have to decide what you want to make. The tables below show all concoctions that are available with herbalism, their rarity, and their cost. Once you have decided what concoction you want to create, you must cover the cost with foraged, harvested, or bought ingredients. The summed cost of the ingredients must be equal to or higher than the cost of the concoction. After covering the cost of the concoction, the player must make a *Herbalism* check, which is made with the *herbalism kit*, using either the players Intelligence or Wisdom modifier (the player's choice). The DC of the *Herbalism* check is based on the rarity of the concoction that needs to be made. If the player succeeds the check, the ingredients are used up and the player gains the newly created concoction. The *special ingredient* is enough to cover the full cost of the concoction on its own, no matter how much the cost of the ingredient itself is.
