*Wonderous Item, Legendary(requires attunement)* **** This golden periapt is decorated with small lapis lazuli and emerald gemstones in the shape of a Jackal head. While attuned with this item, you gain resistance to necrotic and poison damage. This item has 9 charges. While wearing this periapt, you can spend 1 or more charges to do any of the following: - As an action, you transform yourself into a shifting cloud of dust and sand. While in this form, your movement speed is 10 feet. You have no senses except for 30 feet of tremor sense. You do not require food, water, or sleep in this state. You can fit through any crack, as long as it is at least 1 inch in diameter. You are resistant to any non-magical slashing, piercing, or bludgeoning damage, you are immune to necrotic, poison, and psychic damage, and you can’t be grappled, petrified, knocked prone, restrained or stunned. You cannot take any actions of reaction except for returning to your normal form. Any equipment you are carrying on you remains in your possession (1 charge). - As a reaction which you can take at any moment, you turn into a whirlwind of sand and instantly move up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space and revert back to normal. In this state you are immune to all damage and you can’t be grappled, petrified, knocked prone, restrained or stunned (2 charges). - As an action, you can suck the moisture out of a creature you can see within 30 feet. The target must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom save, or suffer 4d10 necrotic damage and decrease their hit point maximum by a number equal to the damage taken. This reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest or is targeted by a greater restoration spell or a similar effect. The target dies if this effect reduces their hit point maximum to 0 (4 charges). The periapt regains 1d4 + 1 charges at dawn. If the periapt runs out of charges, it cracks and loses its magical properties.
